Kenyans dug through chunks of concrete as they searched for survivors after a residential building collapsed in Nairobi, killing at least three people.
More people are feared trapped in the seven-story building in Huruma area, said spokeswoman Arnolda Shiundu of the Red Cross.
Three bodies have been recovered as rescuers frantically searched for survivors overnight, the Red Cross said.
About 100 people lived in the apartment building, which collapsed after heavy rains Friday night. It’s too early to determine what caused the structure to collapse, but residents told the Red Cross that the bottom floors caved first.
